I believe you are looking in the wrong county. Lowell is in Lake County.
Might try there. I grew up in Union Co. and there is no town by the name
of Lowell there.

E. Miller, I checked the 1860 and 1870 IN Census Index and did not find
a SCHRAM or SADLER listed in Union Co. for either year.

Joe,
There is a Lybrook Cemetery located in Section 36 of Harrison Twp, in Union
County. I think it is located on private property and is a good distance
from any road. I don't know if I give you directions that you can find
it without a county map, which I think you can get a copy of at the Courthouse
in Liberty. Try this, go east out of Liberty on State Rd 44 to County Rd
500 East and turn left, go to County Rd 225 North. The cemetery is on the
farm on the east side of County Rd 500E and adjoins 225N on the south side.
I haven't been there in years and don't know who owns the farm at this
time. Could also get this info at the Courthouse. You could also stop at
the Library and look up the cemetery in their cemeterty listings. It usually
shows directions to the cemeteries. Hope this helps.

I am trying to find information on the families of John Schram and Elizabeth
Sadler who were both born in Lowell, Union county, Indiana around 1860-65.
I am interested in names of parents, siblings, etc. If you have any information
at all please respond! Thanks.

Am looking for information about the parents of
Sophia Knipe. She married John Knipe and a
daughter, Susannah, married John Knoll in Wayne Co.
May 29, 1834. John Knoll and his sisters and their
husbands came to Union County in 1832. Nothing has
been found about the antecedents of Sophia. Would
really appreciate any info on her.
