Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Weber, 84, who died at her home here at
1:45 pm Wednesday, are planned at 2:00pm Friday at Leatherman Morris Funeral
Home. Rev. Darl V. Swisher, Minister of the Church of the Nazerene, will
be in charge, and buriel will be at Fairview cemetery.
The body is lying in State at the funeral home where friends may call this
evening. Mrs. Weber, who resided at 539 Oak Street, fell and broke her
hip in 2 places, 1 week ago. She underwent treatment at Mercy Hosp., Elwood,
and was returned home.
Born July 16, 1865, in Atlanta, Mrs. Weber was the daughter of George and
Katherine Losey. She was married in Atlanta Oct 17, 1881, to Henry Weber,
and last year, they celibrated their 68th wedding anniversary. They are
the parents of 10 children, 5 of whom are living.
Mrs. Weber was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church, and she was educated
in Hamilton co schools.
Surviving with the husband are four daughters, Mrs. Ella Fouch, Mrs. Bert
McNew, Mrs. Maude Mackey, all of Tipton, and Mrs. Ruth Dierline, of Mobile,
Ala. : One son, George Weber, of Tipton, e sister, Mrs. Adaline McCullough,
of Indianapolis; one brother, Mort Losey, of Tipton; 11 grandchildren;
23 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
