Am not researching this line, just trying to be helpful. In the 1870 census for Pa,
Westmoreland county, Bell township, page 100, the was a family headed by James Whitesell,
43, best I can make out his occupation was cropper, and included Elizabeth, 43, - a male
named Sabana, 19, a farm laborer, - Martha, 17, - John, 15, a farm laborer, - Carpenter,
13, - Susan, 10, - Jonathan, 8, - Mary C, 5, and James, 2. All born in Pa. In the 1870
census for the same county and township, page 16, the family was headed by James Whitesel,
52, farmer, and included Elizabeth, 52, keeping house, - Daniel C (Carpenter?}, 21, an
apprentice to a carpenter, - Jonathan, 17, - Mary C, 15, - James, 13, and Anna Bell, 5.
Again everyone born in Pa. In the 1880 census for the same county, St Clair township,
Dist 122. page 7A, there was a family headed by Robert Cunningham, 24, works on railroad,
and included his wife Mary, 26, house keeper, his daughter Florence, 2, and his son
Raymond, 7/12. Aga!
in everyone born in Pa. Sorry, couldn't find them after 1880. Hope this helps.
