Aneice,
I have the cemetery books for two of the six townships in Tipton
County. There are no Ohlers buried in Liberty or in Prairie Townships.

Subject: [INTIPTON] OHLER, WILLIAMS, JENNING(S)
I am trying to find information about David Ohler and his wives. He
married Letta J. Jenning(s) in Tipton County, Indiana in 1867.
He then married Susan Williams in 1877. In the 1880 census, he is shown
with Susan
as his wife and a son, William E. who is 11, a daughter who was
actually a son, Orley who is 6 and another son, Ora who is under 2.
I'm assuming his first wife must have died as that happened a lot back
then but
would like to know if there is any record of her death/burial.
Also, on the marriage license for David and Susan there is a George Williams
who marked an X as a witness. I'm wondering if he is possibly Susan's
father.
I would appreciate any assistance.
