This is what I have in my notes:
1. Matilda GOIN, b. ABOUT 1828 in North Carolina.
She married (1) Abraham WOLFORD, married 30 Jan 1848 in Tipton County,
Indiana, d. BEFORE Mar 1896. Abraham: Could this Abraham in Indiana be the same
Abraham born in West Virginia, son of Jacob Wolford and Eve Hawk? Marriage
info from Tipton County, Indiana. Another researcher says he was born about
1819 in Ohio.
Nicholas-Young Funeral home records list "Abraham Wolford, 6'3" coffin,
order
by Davis, d 24 July 1894; believe this was the Abraham Wolford ca 76, see
1880 Madison Twp census, probably buried unmarked grave in Madison Twp, wife
remarried in 1896."
Children:
2. i Lydia A WOLFORD, b. ABOUT 1849 in Indiana.
3. ii Sylvester WOLFORD, b. ABOUT 1852.
4. iii Mary WOLFORD, b. ABOUT 1854.
5. iv Jonathan WOLFORD, b. ABOUT 1856. Another researcher stated
he married Elizabeth, b about 1852 in Indiana, and they had a child John A
Wolford b about 1879. I wonder if this is the Jonathan Wolford that married
Elizabeth Goin.
