My ggfather GALLAHER, Joshua, died January 1908 "near Tipton"
according to his Civil War pension papers. There is a notation on the
papers: "insane". Does anyone know of any veterans home, hospital or
asylum in that area that I might research? His wife and children were
living in Colorado at that point, and perhaps they left him in care
of a hospital. Any information will be most appreciated!
