Will: You have had some replies so I don't know if you got what you needed. If you
are looking for F.G Seymour (Felix Garrett Seymour, youngest son of Garrett Seymour) I
have assumed from census data you previously posted that he was with Garrett in Tippecanoe
Cty Indiana during this period (having left Hardy Cty WV). I believe Garrett Seymour died
in Ohio, where FG subsequently lived, farmed & married Catherine Jane Parker. They
moved to Champaign Cty, IL end of 1863 after going bankrupt. I think they were staked by
RR Seymour (FG's uncle). I have FG's correspondence, including letters from
around 1840 to near his death in 1897, & am transcribing it. These include letters
from Hardy County folks as well as many letters from RR back in Bainbridge, OH (mostly
about the price of corn & cattle but containing some snippets re family &
friends).
