MAJOR KELLY
The remains of Major Kelly, a former resident of Lafayette and Logansport, whose death
occurred in Sioux City, Iowa, last Thursday, will arrive here tonight for burial. The
funeral will be held from St. Mary's church, with burial in St. Mary's cemetery.
The deceased was an attorney, and practiced in the Cass county court several years ago.
He resided in Iowa ten years.
The remains will arrive on the milk train over the Monon and will be taken to
Lancaster's undertaking establishment, from where the funeral cortege will move at
8:30 o'clock. The pall-bearers will be James Falley, Thomas W. Hogan, J.R. McCarthy,
Frank Gavan, John Sullivan, Henry Bailey. The remains will be accompanied by Edward J.
Kelly, son of the deceased, and formerly clerk in the Big Four freight offices here.
