GRAHAM, PENNEBAKER
ARTHUR WELLINGTON GRAHAM to your site, if you wish, who died in Lafayette, Ind on Jan 5,
1916 and was born on 26 Mar 1861. I need info about A.Wellington's father: JAMES
GRAHAM, 4 Jul 1833--21 Dec 1869. Probably died in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. He had a
brother, HENRY, who lived in Penn. Arthur's sister, Jennie Graham, married Harry C.
Pennebaker at Henry's home on July 20 1880. Finally, John Graham (must be 1000's
of them) was born 15 Jun 1793 and married an: Easter ?????. in Pennsylvania or Scotland.
Got no more info on them, alas.
---Jennie Graham, Arthur's sister, lived to be over 100 years old and she did a Graham
Genealogy which traced the Grahams from which she came to one of the four
Ladies-in-Waiting for Mary, Queen of Scots. The Mary she was related to was Mary
Livingston--whose marriage to a Graham was her second marriage. Also, she was known as
"Lusty Mary" in her prime. There's a Graham Castle in Scotland that she
evidently lived in--and it is online someplace, a photo of it.
This is Ron Graham talking, descendant of A. W. Graham. The date is April 28, 2002.
Mother's name: Doris Thise, from Dunnington, Indiana. Photos of these are in the
GRAHAM ALBUMS which are in the Tippecanoe Genealogy Museum in Lafayette, Indiana. Ten
albums made.
