WEST SIDE WOMAN EXPIRES SUDDENLY AFTER HEMORRHAGE - Mrs. Minnie Ervin Waldeck, wife of
Alfred Waldeck, died at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening at the family home, 12 Russell
Street, West Lafayette, after an illness of only a few hours. She suffered a hemorrhage
late in the afternoon, and died within a few hours.
The deceased was 42 years old and was born August 11, 1881, near Montmorenci. Practically
her whole life had been spent in Lafayette. On March 1, 1918, she was married to Mr.
Waldeck. Mrs. Waldeck was a member of the West Lafayette Baptist Church, and also of the
Pythian Sisters lodge. She was well known and the news of her unexpected death proved a
shock to her relatives and friends.
Surviving are the husband and mother, Mrs. J.M.Ervin. The funeral will be conducted at
the family home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. J. Newton Jessup in charge.
Burial in Hebron cemetery.
