You may know all this, but I found this census record in 1880:
Muscoda, Grant Co, Wisconsin
John WILLIAMSON, widowed, 65, OH, laborer, father NY Mother PA
Mary A. WILLIAMSON, dau, 27, IN, works in house, OH, VT
Rose WILLIAMSON, dau, 22, IN, works in house, OH, VT
Tippecanoe County records on the INTIPPEC site show a John Williamson in a
militia enrollment in Shelby township in 1862 along with Henry, James, and
Thomas B. Williamson. It may not be the same person as the John Williamson
in Sheffield township. There are other Williamsons in other records in the
county, mostly in Shelby but also in Jackson and Tippecanoe townships:
Joseph, William, James, Samuel, Robert (m. Nancy Douthard), R. J.
Williamson.
John and Susan Williamson only show up in Sheffield township in the 1860
census, he 45 b. OH, farm laborer, she 45, b. VT, with the children you
list: Christina, 19; David, 17; Sophia, 14; Edwin, 7; Mary A., 9; Rozella,
3.
That's all I've found so far.
Susan
