Good morning,
Here is the list for the newly restored Holladay cemetery as of Saturday 5 pm.

I still have one tombstone to repair and need to do more cleaning.
But we not have 4 out of 5 stones standing in what was listed as a
destroyed cemetery.
What a wonderful day we had on Saturday. I worked with 3 Holladay
family members and one lady from Plainfield, IN. Also had 2 girl
scouts join us after lunch. It was one hot afternoon but we endured
and have this one 90% finished. Felt like we were the star attraction
of the neighborhood. Several farmers and neighbors stopped by to check
us out and share their family stories too.
Now the challenge for this Holladay family is to connect the Willcox
family to their William Holladay's family.
If anyone has information on the Willcox family can you let me know?
I see that Green & Frederick P. Willcox were early land owners in Sheffield
township. Anyone have these guys in there database?

We are meeting tomorrow around 10:30 AM at the Holladay Cemetery
in Sheffield township. This location is on the corner of County Road
1000 East and New Castle road. You will have to park on the
side of the county road. These tombstones are all down in this cemetery,
so we hope to find as many as possible tomorrow.
Families that may be buried there are listed in the Area Plan book as,
Holliday, Funk and Geiger. I believe I also saw a Willcox stone there
last fall.
Come and join me.
