Straightening Up the Yard: Basic Hands-On Cemetery Preservation
Morning Location: TBA. Afternoon Location: West Newton Friends Cemetery, Marion County.
This full-day workshop will focus on basic cemetery preservation techniques, such as
stone cleaning, resetting leaning stones, and resetting stones in bases. Participants will
gain hands-on experience cleaning stones using different techniques and solutions,
straightening stones, and resetting stones
in bases. Global positioning system (GPS) will be demonstrated.
The advanced workshop will be held The Sept. 18 workshop will be held in Marion Co.
