I thought I had heard of it, so I checked with my mother (who has lived in Lafayette her
entire life), and she told me it was a tuberculosis hospital when is was called William
Ross Annex (not sure what annex referred to, though). Her grandmother was treated there
when they thought she had TB. It is now Indiana Vocational Techinal College (Ivy Tech). It
is the old brick building on US 52 and Ross Road. That has all been reconstructed and I
think you can take Brady Lane straight to it.

Hello,
I am looking for any information on the William Ross Annex in Lafayette. My great-uncle,
Daniel Ramsey, whom I know very little about, was a patient in this annex for several
months. I am interested in knowing what type of hospital it was and if it still exists.
I attended Purdue and don't recall ever hearing of this hospital. I tried searching
on the internet and I have not been able to come up with anything.
Thank you very much for any help!
Brooke
