"Here is George Hardwick Will"
WILL AND TESTAMENT OF GEORGE W. HARDWICK, Filed October 30, 1868 I, George
W. Hardwick, of the County of Tippecanoe in the state of Indiana do make and
publish this my last will and testament in manner and form as following that
is to say first it is my wish that my funeral expenses and all my debts be
fully paid second I give and devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Polly
Hardwick all of my personal property money goods and chattels and real
estate so long as she lives and at her deceased and I then give the land
which I bot of Harvey Cullom living in Tippecanoe County state of Indiana to
my son George W. Hardwick and my daughter Lenora Hardwick which she is to
have the east half and the three acres more or less that I bot of the Wido
Thompson lying at the west end of said land I give to my son George W.
Hardwick [illeg] I all so give to my daughter Frances Hardwick or her heirs
five dollars all so my daughter Mary Hardwick or her heirs five dollars and
my daughter Susan Hardwick or her heirs five dollars, and my daughter
Adelaide Hardwick or her heirs five dollars which is to be paid out of my
personlay property at my wife death this will is to not be in force until
after my death and lastly I constitute and appoint my wife Polly Hardwick to
be the executore to this my last will and testament and satisfying and
confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament signed
published and declared by the above named George W. Hardwick as and for his
last will and testament in presents of us who at his request have signed as
witnesses to the same Witnesses in name James W. L. Cole Oliver Pugh In
testimony where I have hereunto set my hand and seal This is the 27 day of
September 1868 [signature] George W. Hardwick.
