Does any one know how long it takes to hear from TIPCOA?
I sent a letter and a check the first of April the check was cashed the end
of April, so I figured it could be much longer, needless to say I am very
anxious to hear from them about the LUCAS's!!

Write back and ask - I heard from them almost immediately.

I can't say how long it takes doing it all by mail, however I called them for
copies and received them the next week with a bill. You may want to call and
check on the progress.

Ella,
I sent a letter to TIPCOA on April 27th and got a reply (with copies of
documents) on May 9th. I had supplied them with book and page numbers for
the records I needed, though. Also, they were very appreciative of the
pre-addressed stamped envelope I sent. There really wasn't alot of
research they had to do for me - maybe that's what's taking so long. They
worked great for me!

Ella,
I've had very good results from TIPCOA in all the years I have
corresponded with them. If things are still the same, they have only
one or two volunteers who do the research, etc. You might send a
postcard to see if it will take much longer. Dorothy Van Cleef is the
lady I deal with, but she is there only one day a week. Patience - some
orgs. take months and months and months to answer.
