Hi everyone!
Wanted to let you all know that I will be going to the Gentech98
conference in Ft. Wayne on Thurs.(weather permitting) and will be back
Sat. night. I'm hoping to learn new ways to help make our page as good
as it can be.
I have changed the obit page to a different format, hoping to make them
easier to read. Let me know what you think. I'm putting it online
tonight. And please feel free to send me your obits from Tippecanoe
Co. I would like to encourage all of you to submit any other documents
you might have transcribed. Don't be shy about sharing your
information. The more we get out there, the better our chances of
finding that one person who might have the answer to our problem
ancestor(s)!
I thought I would also let you know that I have started working on the
Civil War soldiers from Tippecanoe Co. I am also transcribing the
regimental histories from the Adjutant General's Report. I'm hoping to
have some of it online in a couple of weeks, but it will take a while to
get it all done. It will be "under construction" for a while.
