Mary -
I was told early on in my research for ancestors in Louisa Co., IA to
look in Tippecanoe Co., IN for some answers. She said many of the
people in Louisa Co. had come from Tippecanoe Co. She was right, and
that is where I found Elijah Harnett, the father of my g-g-grandmother,
Eliza Jane Harnett. Now I've found that many of the people who settled
in Tippecanoe Co. came from Clark Co., OH, which is where my Eliza Jane
Harnett was born. So you might try looking in Clark Co., OH for your
Millers. There is a mailing list for CLARK-CHAMPAIGN Counties in Ohio.
If you need subscribing info contact me. I would try posting there with
the info you have and see what happens!

Dear Fellow researchers:
I hope you can help me with, if not hard data, at least some places
that I can look. I found my great-geat grandfather in the census of
Washington Tsp, Tippecanoe Co, IN done 10/2/1850. He is listed as 45,
a
farmer, value of r.e. $300, birthplace in MD. Also listed was his
wife,
Mary (McBride) Miller, 45, born in PA. In 1850 he had eleven children
living at home. My great grandfather, Abram Miller, was born in 1838
Cambridge City, Henry Co, Ind.
The first five children were born in Ohio, county unknown.
John Miller born about 1930
Daniel Miller bprn about 1832
Davis (or David) born about 1833
Nancy Miller born about 1834
George Miller born about 1835
Six children were born in Indiana
Susan Miller about 1837
Abram Miller April 30, 1838
Henry Miller about 1840
Mary Miller about 1842
Israel Miller about 1843
Margaret Miller about 1845
I found a census in Liberty Tsp, Jefferson Co, Iowa in 1856 and the
family is still all together at that time.
I anyone can give me any data, or suggest where I could look for more,
I would be very greatful. the Millers are very hard to pin down.
Hopefully yours,
