Hello, I reade your request this morning. It would be helpful if you knew
where they went to church because they would be listed in their records. I am
sending you a link to Indianna research and other good genealogy sites. The
census records can be viewed at any Family History Centers (Mormon) or a
larger library.
I have so much research to do now that I cannot offer my help to look these
records up for you. Searching is half the fun though and you would probably
enjoy this. My gggrandfather was a Lutheran minister in Lafayette for 30
years. I have found the Indianna people very cooperative in our quests. Good
luck in your quests and if at a later time, you need some advice please
contact me. I love genealogy, love to get people going on it but have not the
time to do as much as I would like. Still working a full time job. (Of
course, if after I check my lottery numbers this morning, I may be rich, I can
call in retired tomorrow)
Wouldn't that be nice. I really do wish you loads of luck. Genealogy is part
luck, lots of patience and lots of imagination. Linda
