BTW, what is the "Feast of the Harvest Moon?"
Pat
To Pat and everyone:
The Feast of the Hunters' Moon is THE event of the year for the
Tippecanoe County Historical Society. It is one of the midwest's most
colorful festivals with an authentic recreation of an 18th century
gathering of French and Native Americans. It includes a military
encampment, a voyageur encampment, merchants, traders, craftsmen and
French and Native American food, plus performing areas for music,
dancing and demonstrations.
For more information, visit the TCHA site:
http://www.tcha.mus.in.us/Welcome.htm
Because there is always such a large turnout (several thousand over the
two days) shuttle service is available from The Tippecanoe County
Ampitheater on St. Rd. 43 N. and from one of the parking lots at the
Purdue Football Stadium.
I just saw the weather report and it looks like the weather will be just
perfect for the weekend - sunny and not too warm, around 70 degrees.
Hope you can make it!
