Try the library for an obituary. They also have family files, as well as
other things. I don't know if there is a research request link or not. It
helps to pay
for somethings to get the answer if you can not make the visit.

Thanks so much for the link to the Crawfordsville Library and for bringing
it to my attention that New Richmond is in Montgomery county not
Tippecanoe. I have been digging through the different links amongst the
library site and found them to be very helpful and interesting. I think
I have found my Elizabeth (Eliza) Smith and husband Thomas, buried in New
Richmond Cemetery and all thanks to you. Cheryl

Have you tried the Crawfordsville library/genealogy department?
New Richmond is actually in Montgomery County, but close to the line in
Tippecanoe County.
