Hello Donna,
I appreciate your offer very much. I'm trying to find more info on my
grgrandfather and -mother and their son. My greatgrandmother died in
Lafayette/Tippecanoe County on August 24, 1869. S's been buried on the
Greenbush Cemetery. My grgrandfather and his son lived still there in
October 1870: I've his Naturalization Applicationform, sworn on the 11th
Ochtover 1870.
Their names:
grgrandf.: Marinus (Marynis) STOOP, born in the Netherlands 12 July
1839, and his little son Cornelius (born in the Netherlands 2 October
1867).
I would like to know too if my grgrandfathers' brother-in-law was in
Lafayette in that days too. His name: Cornelius van ETTEN (Vanetten, or
Van Etten etc.), born in the Netherlands 24 October 1837.
Another question: if poissible I would like to know in wich month the
census of 1870 in Lafayette was held.
Thank you very much in advance!
