Hi Bob.....
Glad to see you are not standing still. Neither am I. After, lo these many years,(at
least 50 of my 78) I finally found my birth father's family last year. I am now
officially a Davis. Never did find my birth father. Missed his demise my 5 years. But,
I did find 3 half siblings (one brother and two sisters each with a different mother)from
my birth father's 7 to 9 marriages and/or relationships. Anyway, long story short,
since Buchanan is supposedly a Scottish surname, and as you may recall, the Huckleberry
and Buchanan families hooked up in Switzerland County, I would appreciate a copy of your
document if you think it applies. Thanks,and Happy Trails.
Rebel Kreklow (still going to keep my adopted surname).

>The history covers the origins of the families in Scotland; migration patterns;
history in Jefferson County. The final section has a "census" of Scottish
families known to have come to Jefferson and Switzerland Counties. It provides a short
history of the original immigrants and listings of their children
