My father's family worked river boats as well (surname ENGLISH) Most
of Dad's family was from Switzerland Co. I remember once Dad said that
his father, or grandfather, worked the Show Boat Majestic that ran out
of Cincinnati. Maybe the harbor master could help. I just recently
moved from Cincinnati where I was born and raised. I will do some
checking and see what I can find out. I have a Cincinnati phone book
that I brought along when we moved. In the meantime if you find out
anything let me know.
