Based on date of birth I would figure his death to have occured in
1907:
JOHN HASTIE DEAD
John Hastie, on of the older residents of York Township died at
his home above Markland on Jan. 28, aged 86 years, 10 months and 6
days. Mr. Hastie was the son of James and Elizabeth Hastie and was
born March 22, 1821, on Plum Creek, on the farm now owned by Leopold
Wormus.
His parents were of Scotch descent and came to this country from
Scotland in the year 1809. In 1829 they bought the farm above
Markland where Mr. Hastie lived and died.
He was the last member of a family of 7 children. Mr. Hastie was
a kindly old man, a good citizen who rounded out his years of good
deeds and wrapping his mantle about him lay down to pleasant dreams.

This one has the date contained in the text:
Joseph W. Laboiteaux, after a few weeks of suffering, was called
to his home above, August 13, 1906. He was married to Hannah Ludlow
Nov. 27, 1874. His wife and nine children are left to mourn his loss,
one son having preceded him to the grave. He also leaves a sister and
three brothers. He was born in Mt. Healthy O., June 18, 1850, and at
the time of his death he was 56 years, 2 months and 25 days old. He
and his wife came to Florence a few weeks after their marriage and
made this town their home until Sept., 1897, when he moved to Newport,
Ky. He joined the Christian church on Jan. 13, 1887, and tried to
live a Christian life, and if he failed, as we all do at time, it was
no fault of the heart. He was a loving husband, a devoted father and
a friend that could be counted on at all times.
We leave him in the hand of his Saviour, feeling that all is well,
and his loved ones, by following in his footsteps can look forward to
a happy reunion in the hereafter.
