near here last Friday after a long and lingering illness. She was

Five chuildren were born to this union, four of whom, Mrs. Louis
Martin, Mrs. Charlie Packenham, Miss Avis and Dilver, survive her.
Mrs. Stewart united with the Liberty Baptist church in 1880, but on
account of its remote location she united with the Christian church at
this place, where she has been a faithful member ever since. Besides
her children she leaves four grand-children, three sisters and a host
of friends to mourn her loss. The sympathy of the entire community is
extended to the bereaved family. The funeral services were conducted
