I am forwarding this message for anyone who may be related. I connect
to the PEAK line only indirectly but someone else may find this
information very useful.

Subject: [KYGALLAT-L] Peak Bible - Anyone connected?
case there might be a Peak researcher that this belongs to.
Regards,
Carol
In an antique shop in Nevada City, California, I bought a
PICTORIAL FAMILY BIBLE, published in Chicago about 1900 by
Montgomery Ward & Co. On a flyleaf: "A birthday present to my
daughter, Mary C. PEAK, from your mother. Feb. 27, 1901. This
Bible is Florence's when I am gone. from Mother." Marriages:
Henry G. PEAK to Mary C. MARGEREL, 6 July 1892; Arma C. PEAK
to Lester MANOR, 2 May 1917; Florence E. PEAK to S. Raymond
PHILLIPS, 28 June 1923; Mildred Evelyn MANOR to Warren Calvin
PIERSON, 17 November 1943. Also, apparent birth date of 1833 for
Howard [I?] PEAK in England, died 28 January 1875; and Katherine
Jane DUNCAN, born 20 May 1842, married first Howard PEAK,
married second a PRICE, died 24 May 1911, Turlock, California.
Most recent recorded event: Anna Frances SNAVELY died 19 August
1966, Los Angeles, California. Several other birth and death
dates are recorded. Prove your family connection and the Bible
(needs rebinding) is yours for my costs.
