I have 1 foley cousin left. dr patrick foley, from Indianapolis. pat's mother (
my aunt dee)
passed away last December. shorty after.pat's brother, t michael foley also
passed away. pat has 1 son, casey, and mike has 2 sons, sean and cary.
sean foley is a professor at ohio state.
we grew up on lots of story about the foley's, donnelly's and murnane's.
nana foley had 9 brothers and sisters, 2 became nun;s and one a priest.
my mother (margart ann) told us about the large farm outside london, ohio.
the donnellys live in gahana, ohio and the murnane's live in muncie.
I live in florida now, but I have several old pictures of nana foley on her wedding
day, 1900 and a wedding picture of her parents on there wedding day (around 1860) packed
away back in south bend.
uncle al, uncle tom along with my mother and nana foley are all buried
next to one another in south bend.
we heard the word pogamohoin (my username)a lot growing up. it gaelic for" kiss my
***".
there is a Donnelly relative in gahana they use to call "news"
I'm not sure if she is still alive but she knew everything about all the foley
relatives.
there is also a holy cross nun, who lives at st. Mary's in south bend,(use to live in
Columbus
that was of cousin of the foley's. named sister agnes ann ( who they always called
"bubbles"
I think she's pretty high up in the holy cross order.
