Subject: Unidentified subject!
I am hoping to add to my research on Marie Mathes, maiden name Erger.
She
lived in South Bend, Indiana. She immigrated to the US from
Weisskirchen/Fehertemplom/Bela Crkva, Hungary. This is all one village,
but
the name changed, according to where the borders fell at the time.
She
would have been born between 1860 and 1870. Her brother Jacob was born in
1863. I know nothing else about her except that she was alive in 1942
when
her brother died, and this is according to his obituary.
I did do some searching on the internet, and I came across the family I
believe to be hers. It is a listing of the ED of the 1910 census. I
don't
have access to the actual records, and I don't know if anyone at
the
national archives would do this type of research for me. If anyone knows,
please let me know, or if you know if Ida County has any volunteer look
ups.
The information I found was as follows, and the info. is about the 1910
census:
Mathis Marie Portage ED190 P159 11A 1910
Mathis Bridget, Francis, Leo, and Ester ED176 P119 10B
Mathis Michael, Katherine, Gertrude, and Georieve ED 167 P165
7B
Thank you,
Coleen
