Nancy:
I was just reviewing a copy of an obituary received from the SJCPL a
couple of years ago, in an attempt to verify the age of one of my flock,
Mrs. Charles Sipress, when she passed away - the copy is smudged so I
was without success - but then my eye dropped down to the second obit
below hers, and it was for MAYME L. SEYBOLD. I'll transcribe it below.

Hello - I am seeking information on Gretchen Seybold (ca. 1885-1962) and her parents,
Nathan and Mary Seybold of South Bend, IN. I believe Gretchen had at least two brothers,
Guy and Edgar. My memory is not great, but I believe Guy lived on Lincoln Way West and
Edgar on Cleveland. One of them had an iron works. Any information, especially about
their parents, would be appreciated.

Mayme L. Seybold
Mayme Lavesa Seybold, 18-year-old
daughter of Nathan Seybold, died
Monday evening at the family home,
1119 Lindsey Street, following illness
of three weeks with typhoid fever.
She was born in South Bend and
lived here all of her life time. She
is survived by her father, two brothers,
Guy and Edgar Seybold, of South
Bend, and a sister, Mrs. Clyde Odiorne,
of Grand Rapids, Mich. The body will
be buried in the cemetary at Lapas,
this county. Further arrangements for
the funeral have not been made.
How about that!!! Mary passed away before 1910 and Gretchen must have
married Clyde Odiorne and emmigrated to Michigan.
Anyone who says, never give up certainly knows what they're talking
about.
Now, if someone should happen to have Mrs. Charles Sipress' birth date
or information about the Sipress or Ziprsz family, I'll appreciate it.
