Dear Friends
Well the address I mentioned to get to Johnson cemetery was having trouble.
Or at least my fingers were having trouble typing the correct address. Try
this and if you get the "not found" page go to
rootsweb.com and follow the
inst. below. OK here goes again...try.....
<A
HREF="http://www.rootsweb.com/~miberrie/Johnson.html">Berrien County
MI-USGENWEB Project Presents.....Johnson Cemetery</A>
if that doesn't work...try
<A HREF="http://ncsurry-l-request@rootsweb.com/">RootsWeb</A>
or cut and paste this one...
http://www.rootsweb.com/~mibreeie/index.htm
when and if you ever get to Roots Web do this.......
click on Web Sites (upper right first on list)
click on United States
click on Michigan
click on Michigan Gen. Web.....
click on Michigan in the alpha. list then
click on Berrien
Hope that does it. I have no idea why it is such a pain. Any get to Roots
Web and do the following. You wont be disappointed if you have an interest
in this area.
PPPPPPSSSSSSSSS.........
I am also sending this to many of you who have written to me regarding many
of the people buried in this cemetery and were pioneers to Berrien Co.
Franklin County Va. Websters, Babgy and Hawkins are there.
VA. Johnsons, Claypools too.
St. Joseph County IN. you have people here too.
Even if you have no ancestors buried here...check it out any way. I am very
proud of it and it is full of history.
Also to my daughter in Oklahoma, who put up with years of Cemetery work.
THANKS HONEY, remember when this cemetery (where many of your ancestors are
buried) was such a mess!!!!!! You sure dug a lot of Lilacs hua!!! I am just
a bit proud of it to say the least. What do you think????? Mom
Also a thanks to all of you for your encouragement.
