Hi D Nelson,
I have Hall family connections. My ggrandmother was a Hall before she
married my ggrandfather, Edwards. I don't have all my info right at hand
but my gggrandfather was Deputy Treasurer for St Joseph county during the
1850's or 60's. His name was Alfred or Alford Hall but I don't have much
info on him so I don't know who his brother's or sister's were, so forth but
I am searching for info on his family. They could be related.
Look forward to hearing from you

Subject: [INSTJOSE] Hall - NC to IN and MI
Sarah Jane HALL was born about 1823 in North Carolina. On August 5,
1839 she married Hiram Claypool in St. Joseph Co., Indiana. Since she
was only 16 at the time of her marriage, she probably arrived in
Indiana or Michigan with her parents sometime between 1823 and 1839.
Sarah & Hiram resided in Berrien and Cass counties, Michigan. The
marriage was in a German Baptist Church. Looking for any clues to
Sarah's parentage, no death record for Sarah can be located, so
finding parents there is not an option. Would appreciate hearing from
anyone who has Hall family arriving from North Carolina by 1839.
Thanks for any and all assistance.
D. Nelson
