DELEGATES END SPRING RETREAT
Christian Endeavor Union Hears Talks.
Nearly 300 delegates from all parts of Indiana who were here Saturday and Sunday to
attend an annual spring retreat of the Indiana Christian Endeavor union returned to their
homes late Sunday after an afternoon program in Grace evangelcial church, retreat
headquarters.
The day's program began with devotions at ?:30 a. m. when Rev. Byron Chapman,
host pastor, spoke. A song service followed and through the rest of the afternoon the
delegates attended services in the city's churches. At 1:30 p. m. covers were laid
for 210 persons at dinner in Grace church and at 1:30 p. m. Rev. C. K. Koerige, pastor of
First Evangelical church, opened an afternoon program with devotions.
Rev. Robert L. Selle, pastor of St. Paul's Memorial Methodist Episcopal church,
spoke at the final session in the afternoon. His topic was "The Possible You."
Music was by Marjorie and Helen Nimtz.
