Everyone,
Thanx to all those who have requested their familys records...
A word of clairifcation....
I am able to convert any name to it's soundex code i.e. "P262" - Thats the
easy part, but to look up someones name, I need to know where to look.
There is an index for 1900 that relates the soundex with the PAGES that that
soundex is on... i.e. P262 is on pages 112A, 655B and 670C. My problem is
that I don't have regular access to this index down here in Memphis TN. But
I KNOW they have a copy at South Bend Lib....
My 1900 rom series is over 1200 pages for St. Joe County.
I have worked with some great people on this list that have helped me with
my research greatly. I'd like to be able to give a little back.
God Bless

Subject: [INSTJOSE] 1900 St Joe County Census
Everyone,
I have the 1900 St. Joe County Census images on CD-Rom and would be
willing
to do lookups.
If you would like a look up, please send me the SURNAME you are searching
for and the entry from the 1900 SOUNDEX index for that name.
I do not have access to the SOUNDEX index myself, so I will be unable to
respond to querys that do not give the specific SOUNDEX entries.
