Subject: [INSTJOSE] Peter Keplinger
Looking for information on Peter Keplinger, born ca. 1795 in PA and
Philip Keplinger, born ca. 1723 Ohio. Both are listed in the 1860 St.
Joseph county census. Philip is married to Mary Clark Keplinger.
Philip and Mary in the 1860 census are listed as being in South Bend
Twp.. In the 1850 census they were listed in Marshall County living
with a John Clark (50) whom I believe was Mary's father. Philip and
Mary were married in 1847 in St. Joseph county. Peter is listed in the
St. Joseph county 1850 census with wife Elizabeth (48), Elizabeth (10),
Peter (10), Mary (6), and a Lydia Enyart (16) and Elizabeth Enyart
(13). I think Peter is also the father of the Philip listed above. Can
anyone help me tie the relationships together? It would be very helpful
to me to see if any of these people are listed in the Indiana census in
1870. I do not have access to that census.
