Charley W. Fowler
Charley W. Fowler, 11-- E. Bowman St., died in his home at 7:15 p.m. Friday.
He was born in Springville, Ind., Dec. 16, 1862 and came to South Bend 70
years ago from Springville. On Oct. 1, 1833, he married Mary Jones in LaPorte,
Ind. She died in 1941. Surviving are three sons, George, Alvin and Harold;
three daughters, Mrs. Blanche Ek, Mrs. Myrtle Webber and Mrs. Chloa Driscoll,
all of South Bend; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Friends may
call after 7 p.m. today at the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 2301 S. Michigan
St., where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Rev. E. A. Duker, will
officiate and burial will be in Bowman Cemetery. He was a 50 years member of the
Woodmen of the World, Delta Camp 28.
