Hi:
I did some research for you and found that Howard O. Kring was in WW2. He enlisted
December 4, 1942 in OH. He was born in Elkhart, IN. Enlistment city was Camp Perry
Lacarne. He height was 71'' and weighed 181 lbs. Had two yrs. of high school.
His Civil occupation: Installer - Repairman, Telephone and telegraph or Chirf, Clerk or
Railway Shop Dispatcher or Mgr. Production or Entertainment Director.
Marital Status: Separated without dependents.
Since this said he was separated I searched for a divorce record and found that Mary B.
Kring and Howard O. Kring divorced January 17, 1931 in Kosciusko Co. IN. If you want to
order record from clerk's office the box # is 549 Case # 18238.
I also found that Howard O. Kring died in Warsaw, Kosciusko Co. IN at age 50, June 26,
1955. His obit was in paper June 27, 1955, page 1. If you want to get obit you'll
have to request someone who lives there to get it. (I live in Virginia. )
The only census I could find Howard and Mary in was 1930, Elkhart Co. IN Locke Twp, city
of Nappanee District 36. They lived on West Walnut. He was age 25, married at age 20 born
IN. She was age 23, married at age 18, b. IN. (Married about 1925.)
Hope this helps some.
Doris
