Sorry to post a "me too" response, but I have to agree that John Palmer
could not have been more helpful in my communications to the St. Joseph
Library. He is awesome!!

Subject: [INSTJOSE] John Palmer - St. Joseph County Public Library
Dear List,
For those of you who don't live in the South Bend area, I'd like to let
you
know that John Palmer is no longer working in the Local
History/Genealogy
Room of the Saint Joseph County Public Library. John was moved, against
his
will, to another department by the Library Director.
The 'Room' is now being staffed by other librarians on a rotating basis.
Obviously, this is a huge loss to researchers around the world!
Join me in wishing John good luck in a very uncertain future.
