I have information that an ancestor was married in St. Joseph County
in
1920. My information includes the bride's name (Goldie M. Hoover), the
groom's name (Charles Necley), the date of the marriage (22 May 1920) and
the location of the record (Book 31, Page 160).
To what organization in the county should I write for a copy of the
marriage record? What's the cost and what forms of payment are accepted?
Is there a form I need to submit?
The website for the St. Joseph County Health Department has information
about birth and death records but nothing that I could find about marriage
records.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Dick,
I have had luck with this: <A

Even though they are limited they are in the most part friendly, it has been
about 5 years since I have had time myself to actually go there, but I know
others who have written or called who have been successful with their finds.
If I remember the cost of things were minimal but that too may have changed
with the changing of times.
