Thought you might be interested in the e-mail address of the New Carlisle
and Olive Twp Public library:
http://www.ncpl.lib.in.us/
Recently in the paper was an article about their getting a grant for
computer equipment - scanners I think.... but it was challenging finding
their e-mail address!
Hope this helps,
Dorothy

Holly,
Not sure if anyone gave you this information yet or not, but New Carlisle
does still a Historical Society and Museum. I was there when I was up
there last month. I don't have there address, but the are on the main
street through town.

Someone has photos to share on New Carlisle in the 50's
Also I am interested in the Bootjack cemetery in the History of New
Carlisle
book. It also lists Maple Grove which is in LaPorte county but I
wanted to
know if there is any information on Bootjack cemetery and who is
buried
there.
Thanks,
