Mahlon Miller Sr.
Mahlon Millier Sr., a sign-painter, was found dead in his room in the Romley Hotel,
121 1/2 N. Main St. at 6 p. m. Wednesday by his son, Richard. Death was attributed to a
heart attack. Miller was born in Lebanon, Pa., April 12, 1871. He came here from
Pennslyvania in 1892 and established the Miller Sign Co. Miller's wife, the former
Miss Carrie Buckmoyer, died in 1928. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George Sullas,
Allentown, Pa., and Mrs. William Lawrence, Bethlehem, Pa.; three sons, John A. and
Richard, South Bend, and Mahlon Jr., Melvinvillage, N. H.; 13 grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren, and a brother, John, Eureka, Calif. Friends may call in the Forest
G. Hay Funeral Home after 4 p. m. today. Services will be held there at 10 a. m.
Saturday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
