J. W. ANDERSON DIES AT AGE 38
J. Walter Anderson, age 38, secretary of the General Sheet Metalworks, Inc.,
1902-1910 South Main street, died Thursday afternoon in his residence at 1113 East Milton
street, following two months' illness.
Funeral rites will take place Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Forest G.
Hay funeral home with Rev. Ernest E. Schroeder, of Ridgedale Presbyterian church,
officiating. Imterment will be in Highland Cemetery. The body may be viewed in the
funeral home.
Mr. Anderson was born April 19, 1893, a native of Ashland, Wis., and came here five
years ago from Washburn, Wis. He leaves his mother, Mrs. H. C. Sand, of Chicago; his
widow, Theodora; three daughters, Jeanette, Betty Lou and Ruth Mary; three sisters, Mrs.
B. C. Voight and Mrs. C. G. Franson, of Chicago, and Mrs. E. R. Galvin, of Peoria, Ill.,
and a half sister, Miss Ruth Sand, of Detroit, Mich.
