Pat,
Just searched though my database. None of your names came up. But there
are some folks that haven't made it to the database. Most of our research
has been for the direct line. Just getting into the cousins and extras.
Our line starts here in the states with a Joseph Edwards Born: about 1660
Lambourn(e) Wood(sland) Berkshire England. Died: March 1715/17 Concord
Twp., Chester(Now Delaware) Co., PA. moves south and west from there. If
you done the research for the DAR and SAR, then you gotten back fairly far.
I've been trying to make the connection across the"pond" for awhile now,
have you made the connection to England?
Jerry

Hello Jerry,
I am Pat Edwards, wife of Donald R. Edwards and just got in on part
of
this conversation. Don's father was Clifford R. and his
grandfather was
Ranson Newton Edwards (born in Missouri) and his great grandfather was
James
Nichols Edwards(who was the son of a preacher)Newton Orum Edwards.
Don was born and lived part of his life in South Bend, then in
Elkhart,
Ind. We know there were a lot of Edwards in this part of Ind.
We are members of DAR and SAR, so you know we have done some
research.
We believe Newton Orum that was born in Tenn, might have been the son
of
Nicholas. If we make any connection we would appreciate hearing from
you.
Pat
