I am not related to Pearl Richter, Edward Fisher however was my paternal grandfather. My father is half brother to their children. I would like learn more about this branch of my family tree. My family is a branch that the surviving Fishers
are perhaps not aware of. My main interest is knowing about the history and ethnicity of my ancestors is. I would appreciate any info that might shared .
Best regards , Jim Schmidt

Here is the obit for Frenora.
Submitted by: Diana Brown
The South Bend Tribune Feb. 22, 1937
Last rites for Mrs. Frenora Otstot, 1104 South 36th street, were conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the residence by Rev. B.R. Nesbit, pastor of River Park Methodist Episcopal church.
Burial was in city cemetery.
Perhaps you can contact the cemetery and see if Thomas is also buried there.

He was married to Frenora Mereness. In the 1920 Census, they are living in St Joseph, but I don't know what town. A book on the Otstots says they were buried in a cemetery in South Bend. Frenora is widowed and living in South Bend in the 1930 Census. That's pretty much what I have to go on. Hoping someone can assist me in locating their grave sites. Any help will be appreciated.

According to the obituary for Frenora Otstot, she is buried in the South
Bend City Cemetery.
In the obit index for the South Bend Tribune I found the following:
Thomas' obit was published in the South Bend Tribune on 22 May 1928, Sec 1,
Page 5 and on 23 May 1928, Sec 1, Page 5. His address was listed as 1104
S. 36th Street.
Frenora's obit was published in the South Bend Tribune on 20 Feb 1937, Sec.
1, Page 14 and 22 Feb 1937, Sec. 2, Page 8 and the same address is listed.
Also listed is a George Durwood Otstot at the same address, his obit was in
the South Bend Tribune on 10 Dec 1939, Sec. 1, Page 1.
Go to rootsweb.ancestry.com/~instjose/ and you can search the obits for
Frenora that was published on 22 Feb 1937. You can also contact the St.
Joseph County Public Library in South Bend and I think someone might look to the
obits for you.
Hope this helps.
Linda
