My paternal grandmother was Victoria Szczypiorski born 20 December 1887.
Her father was Ignatz (Ignacy) born in Zablocie 22 Jan 1856 or 20 September 1856, baptized in Kcynia. Emigrated to USA sometime in 1900 with his second wife Berta Grohal, her son William from a first marriage, her child with Ignatz Frank and his two kids with Anna Bystry: Victoria, Marta (Martha), and Frank though I have not been able to find the landing in the USA. Died Milwaukee Wisconsin 8 September 1934.
Mother Anna Bystry (Ignatz's first wife) who dies around 1895 in Poland.
One of 10 children of Jan and Petronella (nee Lewandowska).
Ignatz's brothers - Walenty and Piotr - emigrated to South Bend Indiana.
I'm trying to fill in some gaps.
(1) Location of family in Poland. There seem to be several Zablocie's in Poland.
(2) Date of arrival of Ignatx and family to USA and boat. I think the surname may have been mis-spelled.
(3) Back-fill of ancestors. There's info on Ancestry to Adam Szczypior father of Maciej Szczypiorski (b 1743 Smolniki died Slonawy 1812). Would like to confirm that. And if anyone has data on Adam and earlier ...
