Message Board Post:
In 1880, Mary at age 23 was living with her parents, Godfrey and Dora (Beyrer) Bestle, in German Twnp., St Joseph County, Indiana. I believe she was married in the early 1880's to a man named Shaffer.
Mary Shaffer had at least three children:
Adolph, who lived in German Township,IN,(US Census 1900, age 15, as a boarder with the Eisele family).
William, who later lived in Modesto, CA,
Florence, who in US Census 1900, at age 11 was living with her grandparents, Godfrey and Dora Bestle in German township.
I would like to know the full name of Mary's husband and learn about the details of her life, marriage and death.
Thank you.

This is an old post, but I thought you might still be interested in this subject. Henry's sister Caroline was my gr gr grandmother, so I have some information on this area of the family. Let me know what areas you are still needing to research, if any.
