Janice
I found a listing for Mary on the Ibdex of obituaries from the North
Judson News which you can get by writing to the North Judson Library, 208
Keller Ave, North Judson, In 46366, 219-896-2841, on the cemetery you
asked about, the listed cemeteries for North Judson are the Pioneer Cem,
Highland Cem and the St Jacobs Catholic Cemetery, it seems the St Jacobs
Cem could be the one you want, if the family were Catholic, the Catholic
Church would also have records. The obit fron the library would also be
more likely to use the name as it was known here.
On the index it lists Mary with spouses listed as James Benesh and Hanry
Pravecek
WPA death index lists a death for HenryPravecek Jr, age 6, died Dec
28,1914, I did not find an obit listing for him, hope this helps, good
luck

Message Board Post:
I am searching for anyone who knows or knew any of my great
grandparents or their families. I have my great grandmother's death
ctf. stating she died 9-15-1937,in Chicago, her name was Mary
Pravecek. She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, North Judson,
Starke, Indiana. I can't find that cemetery on any list. Her
maiden name was Sladky. Her husband's name was Henry Pravecek. If
someone could provide me with any information of the Praveceks or
Evergreen Cemetery, it would be so helpful to me.
Thank you.
