I tried to help find Catharine after 1860 but, so far no luck. I did find a Catharine
Craig who married a William Hazelton Oct. 23, 1868 in IN. Not sure if this is she.
You may already have this, but I found the marriage of John S. Craig and Lois Sanford.
They were married in Jennings Co. IN May 7, 1840.
In 1870 I did find Catharine's sister, Elizabeth (25) Craig married to Lewis Forest,
age 23. Her brother, John S. age 12 was living with them.
In 1920 Lewis and Elizabeth were living in Grant Co. IN.
In 1860 census John & Lois were living next door to Peter Miller and family. But in
1870 John & Lois were not there. I searched the whole 1870 California Township of
Starke Co. for them.
I found under Civil War Soldiers, Riley H. Craig. Enlistment date Sept. 13, 1861 in Knox,
IN.
Under Indiana Deaths he died in Anderson, IN Feb. 1, 1917.
In 1880 Riley was 38 living in Portland, Jay Co. IN and was a Watch Maker. Born IN, Father

In 1900 Riley, age 51, married 32 years b. Feb. 1843. Was a Retired Jeweler. B. IN Father

In 1920 Mary, age 72, widowed, lived alone at same address as 1910. Born IN Parents b. OH.
I did not find any record of their having children.
Civil War Record for Alonzo Craig. Enlistment date Feb. 18, 1864 in Knox, IN.
In 1870 Alonzo, age 23 was living in Cedar, IA Fairfield Township with J.W. Monk, age 32,
farmer. Worked as a Farm Laborer.
1900 Alonzo was living in Starke Co. Wayne Twp. He was b. Feb. 1847 IN, age 58, married 21
years.
Nelly P. wife, b. March 1862, age 38, b. IN.
Daughter's name looked like Gem, age 16, b. Jan. 1884.
Hope some of this helps.
