Hi,
I have, also, sent along information that found its way into either Ancestry or
Genealogy.com's "sale list". I believe even Familysearch has Gedcoms on CD
these days. It has been very frustrating at times. I do, however, have another "bone
to gnaw on"! Being a serious researcher, I do not rely on what I find on-line. I
take it, go to the source (if not named), and verify the information for accuracy. I began
this hobby years ago when I didn't even know what a computer was or imagined what
would be available in the future. I have sent along information to people , who have taken
that information and posted it to some site and it is now out there for all to see. No
attempt was made to provide source materials, credit, etc. The computer has opened up a
new world for those of us who love what we do; however, it has, also, brought those who
are trying to make a profit out of the woodwork. Marilyn Cossler Garrison
