In the Spencer County Cemetery Inscriptions Book, Volume I, page 166, I
found the following:
New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Hammond Township, Spencer County
Indiana. Located on north side of Hwy. 70 across from the church, east
of Newtonville
Howland, Homer, DOB: 1873, DOD 1946
Cumi, DOB: 1876, DOD 1925
Is is possible that his first name is HOMER and not HAMER?
I would assume that Cumi is his wife as she is listed on the next line
below him.
There are other Howlands buried in this cemetery as well as Hagans. I
do not see his parents, John M or Nancy Hagan, listed in this cemetery.
I hope this helps.

I am looking for a cemetery record for Hamer Howland b. 1874 in Spencer Co
IN s/o John M. Howland and Nancy Hagan. I don't have a death date for him.
